KApOA Open Show Program

KApOA offers an open show program for Appaloosa owners and exhibitors who show their KY-Bred Appaloosas at county fairs and open all breed horse shows. We want to encourage and promote the Appaloosa breed, and what better way to do that then to get out and show off your Appaloosa in your area?

The Open Show program is similar to the Appaloosa Horse Club's ACAAP program. Any open, all breed show, county fair or open horse show is eligible for points. Regional shows or shows sponsored by the Appaloosa Horse Club do not count in this division. For a list of some approved open shows, visit Approved Shows.

*A maximum of 10 shows (10 judges) can be counted towards points.

***To qualify for awards in the Open Show Program, you MUST show at the KApOA Open Show held the second weekend in September.
