How much money is the Appaloosa Breeders Incentive Fund awarding per point?
The Appaloosa Breeders Incentive Fund does not award money based on points per se. In the Regional & Open Show Divisions, points are awarded on a 6-5-4-3-2-1 scale with the top 3 horses at the end of the year receiving monetary awards. In 2006, the amounts for each program were:
- Regional Show: 1st Place: $400
- Open Show: 1st Place: $450
- Saddle Log: 1st Place: $900
